At Pipestone County Medical Center, we believe that one of the most important responsibilities we have to the people of our community is to provide them with educational opportunities that promote better health, and support systems that help those struggling with illness or grief.

Diabetes Support and Education

Grief Support Group
For more information or to register, call 507-825-6024.  During this six-week session, attendees will gain an understanding of the mourning process and learn tools that will assist in coping and managing feelings associated with grief.

Baby Cafe
For more information, call 507-825-6266.  All new and expecting moms are invited to the Pipestone Baby Café each Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  This unique opportunity provides a friendly and comfortable environment to learn more about breastfeeding, share tips and techniques, and socialize with other moms. Our certified lactation consultants and WIC breastfeeding peer counselors will also be on-hand to provide one-on-one help.  Moms may also take advantage of baby weigh-ins and breastfeeding assessments during this time.
