Frederick K. Ness, MD
|About||Dr. Ness began his family practice in Pipestone in May 2018. He earned his Medical Doctor degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, ND in 1985. He completed his residency at the University of North Dakota Family Practice Center in Grand Forks. She received her medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion, SD and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia, MO. She is certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Nicholas Harms, MD
|About||Dr. Nicholas Harms joined Pipestone County Medical Center in July of 2014. Dr. Harms is originally from near Dell Rapids, SD. He attended college at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE and South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. He attended the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD and received his medical degree in May of 2009.
Dr. Harms completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI in 2014. He was a clinical instructor for the MSU College of Human Medicine and the College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2009 until 2014. He received the Outstanding Resident Teacher award in 2011 and was the Chief Resident of Surgery during 2013-2014. While at MSU he performed research involving parathyroid disease, carotid vascular disease, and single incision laparoscopic surgery.
